Shaw Floors Hardwood Castlewood Hickory is replete with natural and humble charm; the shades of nature make the hardwood floors not only enticing but also desirable.
This range of products is robust and has beautiful linear graining; the sawn face veneers resemble the solid hardwood. The patterns are usually in knots, mineral streaks, and natural splits, which are ideally found in grown and matured hardwood flooring that has aged over the years.
There are only two shades in Castlewood hickory, namely, Ale and Coat of arms, but they exhibit epic wood floors carved to perfection by gluing 3 to 9 thin layers of plays and using premium hardwood for the top layer.
Both the shades follow a high variation color pattern, where Ale is on the lighter scale of shades with more mineral streaks than knots. Once again, earth tones for decor will suit best with this shade; they will not only complement each other but also augment the grandeur that the shade exhibits.
Coat of Arms is very light and radiates a golden hue across the room. This transforms the room into a brighter and bigger space. There is less number of mineral streaks than the knots.
This is a safe shade to be teaming up with the shades of blue and green. The low gloss finish and the oil-rubbed floors give a vintage edge to the flooring.
The plank width is 7 and a half inches and the thickness 9/16 inches. The Dura shield finish and micro-beveled edges make the Shaw Floors Hardwood Castlewood Hickory flooring look royal and aristocratic.
